This year, one of our new vendors is Juni & Si, a hand dyed yarn company from Snoqualmie, Washington. Jean, the owner and dyer behind Juni & Si believes that a good song and a perfect skein of yarn can change your whole day.
Founded in 2021, Juni & Si Yarns began as a curiosity about the dyeing process and quickly blossomed into a full-blown creative passion. Each colorway is named after a song that’s personally meaningful or irresistibly danceable—because color and music both have the power to stir the soul.
The name Juni & Si comes from Jean's grandchildren, Juniper and Silas. The logo, designed by her oldest child, features a sprig of Juniper and Mt. Si, a local landmark that reminds her daily of where this journey began.
Jean will be bringing a variety of hand dyed yarns, including fingering and DK weights, some Suri, and maybe even a few yarn sets!
We can't wait to see you in just a handful of weeks in Hermiston at PSFF!

From Mariah: "Project bags tailored to what you want and need! Mariah offers a variety of sizes and styles from large to small zippered bags with a lanyard-type handle as well as large to small cinch bags with a simple handle and rope drawstrings. I love a good pocket, and the main reason I started to sew my own bags, so each bag boasts at least one pocket, if not more! All bags are reinforced to give stability and each bag has a box-like bottom so that they stand up on their own. Fabrics are chosen by me and all bags are sewn by me as well. I take pride in what fabrics I choose, how I pair them, and the finished product brings me great joy. Part of that joy comes from sewing with a variety of fabrics that I do not buy in bulk. Know that the bags you see are limited and that makes them special!
With my love of knitting, yarn bags, and all things fiber, recently I have started dying mini skeins and small batches of full skeins that are just perfect for creating gnomes, socks, shawls, and cowls, or anything really! I am also dying fiber as I seem to have fallen down the spinning rabbit hole. Inspiration is taken by what is around me as I dive into a world of color and fiber. Pick up your favorite, grab a few, or create a beautiful bouquet!"
